Get ready to explore the site with your children!
During the school holidays, family visits are available to discover the site. They're a great way for young and old alike to find out more about the history of this site that dates back thousands of years. Who were the builders of the megalithic monuments? How did they live? What did they eat? What tools did they use in their daily lives? What is the difference between the Er Grah tumulus and the Table des Marchands dolmen? Why is the Great Menhir broken? What is an engraving? Prehistoric facsimiles and a guided tour of the site will help you decipher all these questions.

Archaeological activities
During the summer holidays, 2 events a week are offered on the site, at no extra charge.
In the afternoons, guest speakers offer demonstrations of various prehistoric techniques. Basketry, weaving, ceramics and engraving are just some of the activities on offer.
And don't miss the guided tours and activities offered by our mediators during the holidays.
These activities are a fun way to discover the site, and are sure to be unforgettable.

Secrets of Neolithic pottery
Discover the secrets of Neolithic pottery from the time of the megalith builders with a ceramist. How was pottery studied? How did our ancestors make their pottery? What tool(s) were used to create the decorations? After a presentation and demonstration of how pottery was made, you'll be invited to take part in a number of hands-on activities, including observation with a binocular magnifying glass, handling and reconstructing facsimiles and using tools.

Where to eat?
Treat yourself to a tasting break or lunch overlooking one of the most beautiful views of the Gulf of Morbihan near the monument.
Just a stone's throw from the site, you'll find restaurants, oyster tastings and crêperies overlooking the harbour and the islands of the Gulf, or on the town side.
You can also head to the Pointe de Kerpenhir for a family picnic.
